QC Material - Senior Scientist

Hobson Prior ae looking for a QC Material - Senior Scientist to join a brilliant pharmaceutical corporation on a permanent basis located in London. Our client is focused on developing remedies that might have the possibility to cure those who suffer from serious illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will conduct trending of incoming resource qualification data.
• Collaborate with warehouse, supply chain and QA teams to guarantee accomplishment of actions to assist with incoming material release.
• Guarantee all incoming material documentation meets GMP needs.
• You will set-up and supervise the material inspection programme, assuring materials are appropriately qualifies for the manufacture of gene therapy products.
• Serve as the main point of contact for technical assistance for new material needs.
• Offer contributions where required and assist with quality records affiliated with raw materials testing such as aberrations, change controls and CAPA.
• Execution of in-house raw material ID testing.
• Assume ownership and responsibility for upkeep and evaluation of materials SOPs, equipment and strategies.
• Cooperate with external testing houses and evaluate the outcomes for both technical and quality compliance.
• The ideal candidate will guarantee adequate control of the material status for release or reject.
• Conform to the company's processes, which involves health and safety and GMP.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a chemistry/biology or similar work experience within a pharmaceutical or corresponding regulated organisation such as biologics or medical devices.
• Know-how of GMP/GLP guidelines, FDA guidelines with at least 5 years of experience working within a GxP setting.
• Computer literacy.
• Prior involvement working in a GMP manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge in quality management.
