Senior SAS Programmer

A global biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Senior SAS Programmer to join their growing biometrics practice. It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of their Biometrics practice working on innovative projects on Oncology. For this position, you will be reporting directly into the Manager of Statistical Programming. In this role, you will be overseeing all the statistical programming activities and be part of the decision-making process on clinical development plans.

Responsibilities of a Senior SAS Programmer:

• Manage all the SAS Programming activities and act as the sole point of contact for all programming enquiries from internal to external stakeholders.
• Dealing with operational challenges and collaborate closely with the rest of the Oncology department and act as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on all programming topics involving C-DISC Standards.
• Produce, evaluate, and renew processes and SOP.
• Take part in application development for small programs and new drug applications.
• Oversees SAS programming on datasets creations.

Requirements of Senior SAS Programmer:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or life science related field.
• Extensive experience working within a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or CRO Setting.
• Strong experience working with SAS Programming and CDISC standards (ADaM and SDTM)
• Vast experience at project management level and strong interaction with both external and internal stakeholders on statistical programming topics. (CRO’s vendors Regulatory Authorities and company hierarchy).
• Previous experience working with Clinical Trials is required.
