Sr. Account Manager Biosimilar Field Sales- (m/w/x)- Munich

i-Pharm Consulting is currently partnered with a leading American biotech company based in Munich and we are currently in search of a Sr. Account Manager Biosimilars Field Service to join the Biosimilars sales team. As the Sr. Account Manager Biosimilar Field Service, you will be responsible for the sale of 3 biosimilar products for the treatment of rheumatological and gastroenterological diseases. Your targeted sales area includes Donauwörth, Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Cham, Regensburg, and Pfaffenhofen. Furthermore, you will be responsible for utilizing all available resources to analyze and develop the territory's performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales goals through digital skills and factual knowledge
  • Establish a dovetailed approach for all future customer contacts by using an OmniChannel approach.
  • Apply marketing and business unit strategy to maximize sales results.
  • Leveraging all applicable IVAs and other digital tools and technologies
  • Build trusting relationships with HCPs and stakeholders and provide comprehensive knowledge of all products
  • Develop and implement a strategic account plan
  • (Comprehensive) understanding and use of business metrics to maximize regional opportunities.
  • Leverage and coordinate resources through an understanding of the customer journey
  • Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional colleagues to advance programs and initiatives.
  • Support successful patient outcomes
  • Closely track new patient treatment progress at the HCP (depending on region and according to regulatory requirements/restrictions)
  • Inform HCPs and other stakeholders about the access (e.g., infusion) and reimbursement programs (as appropriate by region) to ensure appropriate service

Qualifications

  • Pharmaceutical sales representative (according to section §75 AMG) or academic degree (bachelor, master preferred) preferably in natural science, medical, paramedical, business or another relevant background
  • (Minimum 5 years) experience in sales of pharmaceuticals/medical supplies (biosimilars background and experience desirable), proven and sustained success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in a cross-functional environment
  • Work independently and proactively with cross-functional partners and colleagues in assigned territory.
  • Build effective, trusting, and respectful relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Ability to design and execute customized OmniChannel customer contact plans
  • Fluent in German, fluent in written and spoken English
