The Role:

Our site in Eye, Suffolk is currently recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to join the Facilities Management team.

Primarily you will be supporting the facilities Team Leader, and Facilities manager, with day-to-day coordination of PPM and reactive maintenance duties to ensure in house compliance, and smooth running of the department. Requesting quotations from vendors for materials and repairs to essential site service. Liaison with FM leadership and technical team, security and soft services team and other key site stakeholders.

This is initially a 12 month fixed-term contract position, however may lead to a full-time permanent role or other opportunities within Labcorp.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Contractor management - including security screening, building/site access, requesting vendor quotations.
  • Raising supplier orders, chasing approvals, goods receipting, invoice approvals and query resolutions
  • Maintaining accurate paper and electronic service records.
  • CAFM / TMS reporting of faults and allocating work orders.
  • Support department with QA / Client inspections and audit queries- providing data, coordinating responses and completing remedial actions.
  • KPI Data collection and monthly reporting to Facilities Management
  • Supporting reception during peak periods or times of absence - switchboard call handling, hospitality requests and greeting contractor/visitors to site.


About You:

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE or equivalent . You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management and organisational skills in an environment that requires you to be flexible and meet specific timelines.

Additionally, you will have previous experience in a similar role.
