We are partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company committed to transforming the lives of people with rare diseases, who are looking for an expert Medical Affairs Manager for the Nordics region.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain scientific partnerships with external experts and decision-makers, engaging in mutual scientific exchange
  • Act as a scientific resource for external experts and internal colleagues
  • Build peer-to-peer relationships with external experts and stakeholders
  • Deliver clinical, scientific, and medical education, support research initiatives, advisory boards, and other scientific exchange activities
  • Develop and implement the Local Medical Affairs strategically aligned plan, mapping patient journeys, diagnosis, and therapeutic patterns, establishing genetic testing initiatives in collaboration with healthcare providers and obesity treatment networks
  • Support clinical trial execution, interpret key scientific data, provide scientific input and participate in local medical and cross-functional initiatives/projects
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, and respond to unsolicited requests for medical information in a timely manner

 

Requirements:

  • PhD, PharmD, MD
  • 8+ years of experience within a Medical Science Liaison or similar field-facing role
  • Fluency in Danish/Swedish/Norwegian and verbal and written English
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regional/local specific healthcare systems
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
  • Must be willing and able to work primarily from home office
  • Up to 50% travel, mainly to other Nordic countries
