As one of the world's premier Contract Research Organizations, Labcorp are currently recruiting for a Research Analyst to join our Metabolism team located at our site in Alconbury, Huntingdon.

Full training will be provided!

Duties include:
  • Undertaking study/laboratory related activities and record keeping
  • Leading in general laboratory and radiosynthesis specific housekeeping
  • Gaining experience in the skills required to conduct technical and scientific procedures - synthesis reactions, purifications and analysis
  • Supporting our radiochemists in purifications, the setting up of chemical reactions, plus monitoring of synthesis reactions and work-up of these reactions, using analytical techniques of HPLC, TLC and LC-MS where appropriate with training and guidance
  • Following instructions, SOPs and study plans/protocols that apply to current role to complete assigned tasks and projects; Ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with study plans and company SOPs
  • Maintaining compliance with GLP and EHS regulations at all times
  • Supporting studies in non-primary area of work

Education / Qualifications:
  • BSc or MSc, ideally in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject




Skills / Experience:
  • Laboratory experience from either studies or in industry and skilled in the use of all standard laboratory equipment
  • Knowledge and/or experience with HPLC or TLC advantageous
  • Knowledge of working with GLP, SOPs and COSHH
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Team player that is adept at learning new skills and techniques
