Regional Account Manager – Cardiology / Metabolic 
Location: Netherlands – District specific 
** This is a field-based role in region so will require travel within your specialised district**


Barrington James are long term partners of a leading global pharmaceutical organisation based out of Amsterdam. We are currently focussed on expanding their service offering across Europe due their 2022 success and upcoming product launches. 


As part of their 2023 expansion, we are looking for a Netherlands Regional Account Manager that can work across their pipeline specifically within cardiology and metabolic diseases. 
You will be responsible for the Heart failure brand, driving and managing the stakeholders in region. This will include managing all stakeholders in line with the businesses needs and priorities, taking full ownership of customer interactions and managing all activities alongside the key decision makers in country. 

The Role:


•    Through regional account planning and responsibility for regional budget planning and execution based on strategic planning, reach sales targets within a designated territory.
•    Responsible for developing the necessary account plans for the specified region
•    Analyse and decide on a strategy for the most significant stakeholders and influencers
•    Develop a strategy to contact important stakeholders, ensuring that advocacy is developed based on local environmental knowledge and healthcare delivery, and identify areas of customer/account alignment around the relevant illness areas.
•    Recognize prospects and create a business plan that specifies the level of commitment needed to build successful client relationships.
•    Take ownership of delivering a brand value proposition that will influence key stakeholders ensuring that the portfolio has the best possible guideline formulary position. 
•    Being able to comprehend, share, and use data with clients, including customised datasets, models, materials, and proposals offered via market access
•    Utilize the expertise and value that the business unit has to offer, and coordinate resources to show "one face to the client" to foster long-lasting partnerships while achieving short-term financial goals.

Key Requirements: 


•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales, account management or a field-based role. 
•    A developed and readily available network within either cardiology, renal care, metabolism, or diabetes (Heart failure preferred)
•    Exceptional selling skills with excellent product knowledge enabling you to convince and inform Health care professionals to prescribe the company’s products 
•    Utilise data quickly and efficiently by translating it into actional insights 
•    Design, create and implement innovative ideas related to the changing healthcare market alongside your customers 
•    Excellent time and project management skills
•    EXCELLENT Dutch and English Communication skills 
•    Bachelors or master’s degree in a relevant medical background e.g., Biology, medicine or other related topics
