Job Summary

At our world class facility in Elphinstone, Tranent (close to Edinburgh),our Administration & Reporting Department currently has an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Sample Coordinator.

Due to our continued growth and success, we can offer rewarding opportunities in a research environment. Working as an Assistant Sample Coordinator, you’ll join a team which provides support to study management in the co-ordination and reporting of their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing chain of custody in order to collect and transfer samples
• Labelling, packaging and shipping samples with appropriate documentation required according to import/export regulations
• Ordering packaging materials including boxes and dry ice
• Maintaining calendar of tasks according to protocol requirements

Applicants should have:

• English and Mathematics Standard Grades
• Proven experience of working within given timescales with a proactive working style
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Experience in Microsoft Word
• Good written communication and people skills

The salary is £23,804.89 per annum.
