Exciting new opportunity as a Key Account Manager, Incision Management. You will be a motivated sales professional with experience selling surgical products and also of being present in the operating theatre. As part of a high performing team, you will develop the negative pressure and advanced post-operative dressing business within a defined geographic area through the maintenance and growth of profitable relationships.

In this role you will:
Create regional account plans to define, target and successfully close business opportunities in order to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Plan and prioritise sales activities to maximise face to face customer contact.
Liaise with internal functions to agree commercial proposals and effectively use these in customer negotiations.
Supporting customers with product evaluations and trials to promote sales opportunities.
Deliver agreed activity rates to ensure coverage and frequency of target customers/focus products and to drive sales of the Company Incision Management portfolio
Present our brand value propositions and value added customer centric solutions for the Incision Management portfolio.
Develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships to increase their support, usage and advocacy of the Company products.

Qualifications:

Full UK driving licence.
Maintain and hold relevant MIA accreditation or be willing to attain.
Degree in a related field such as Business or Marketing would be beneficial.
 

The Person/Experience:

Essential:
Medical devices sales experience within a surgical/theatre environment.
Experience/ capability of engaging at surgeon level. 
Strong sales track record of exceeding targets and building business relationships.
Trained in and experience of solution selling skills.
Highly developed commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Highly developed communication and presentation and analytical skills.
Strong multichannel solution selling background.

Desirable:
Proven track record in account management and working with Multi-Disciplinary Team customer base (Clinical Director, Consultant, Surgical Site Prevention Lead) 
Experience within a clinical environment (Theatre Manager, Scrub Nurse, ODP etc.).
Wound care sales experience.
