Job Details

Designing Software/Firmware architecture and coding for high integrity applications.
Specific components of project include:
Thorough compliant documentation, including specifications, code metrics and unit, module, and integration test planning.

Software/Firmware unit implementation and verification

Software/Firmware integration and integration testing

Software/Firmware systems level testing.

Software/Firmware Risk Assessment participation.
Completion of Software/Firmware ICE62304 deliverables checklist.
Work within defined ISO13485 QMS, ISO14971 Risk Management system, and according to applicable regulatory and industry best practice and standards, including FDA, CE mark, EN60601-1:2006 and collaterals, and ISO62304 Software/Firmware Lifecycle among others with direct guidance from management.
Contribute to submissions for FDA, CE marking etc. under guidance from Managing Director..

Development Tools

Visual studio, Cantata, CPP Check ,PC-lint ,Git, JIRA

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A relevant bachelor's degree in Software/Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
Experience in embedded development
Understanding of IEC62304 Software/Firmware Standards
Demonstrated GUI development for non-engineering users desirable.
Experience in full product life cycle with demonstration of products released to manufacturing and subsequently to market.
