Role: Process Development Scientist

Contract Length: Initial 12-month

The role:

Planet Pharma have partnered with a leading animal health company who are currently looking for a process development scientist to join their team based in Speke. This role will involve the development of biologic and vaccine products in a pilot plant environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with an exciting pipeline a great industry reputation.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical and operational expertise for upstream and downstream process projects.
• Support scale-up process development projects.
• Drive plant compliance and quality activities.
• Design, execute and evaluate laboratory studies using hands-on experimentation

Requirements:

• Hands on experience working with cell culture or fermentation processes within life sciences/animal health.
• Experience working with bioreactors in industry.
• Industrial aseptic technique exposure.
• Experience working in a GMP/cGMP environment.
