Senior Business Development Manager - Cannabis (m/w/x)- Berlin (remote)

i-Pharm Consulting is currently partnered with a privately owned Portuguese Medical cannabis company, and we are in search of a Senior Business Development Manager for the sale of their medical cannabis products across Germany. As the Senior Business Development Manager, you would have a clear path for career progression as you would be expected to develop into a team leader for the German territory. You will be responsible for identifying and securing relationships with new customers as well as promoting and selling the firm's medicinal cannabis products to doctors and medical professionals within Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and build relationships with new clients, developing a rapport and providing support that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Develop and maintain a strong business relationship with pharmacies, medical professionals, KOLs, and doctors across Germany for the sale of the company's medical cannabis products.
  • Promote and sell the company's medicinal cannabis products to medical professionals and pharmacies across the German territory.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
  • delivering the revenue target for each financial year
  • Craft, develop, and executive the business and sales strategy for the sale of medicinal cannabis.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients, developing a rapport and providing support that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new products to clients to enhance existing relationships.
  • Monitor and regularly report on key performance indicators and management processes within areas of responsibility and take appropriate action to achieve improved service delivery and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or Pharmaceutical field
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a focus on selling narcotics or medical cannabis
  • Established a network of doctors and medical professionals in Germany
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • High-level communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and motivate others.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to assess risk.
