Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Medical Operations Associate/Department Assistant to join a fantastic pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis located in Uxbridge. Our client is focused on finding, developing and distributing novel remedies that help people overcome serious illnesses they might be facing.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will communicate with both local and international functions to find operational effectiveness and process advancements, as well as guide on the local change management procedure.
  • Operate as an integral member of the operations team to distribute on crucial medical affairs goals, which may involve patient safety, drug supply and metrics.
  • Assist on operational management for the early patient access schemes within the company.
  • Be a part of the medical affairs community and cross-functional team.
  • Get involved within the recognition and execution of new concepts and prospects for effectiveness, improvement, simplification and cost saving.
  • Contribute to the medical strategy, operations and governance team, which involves team meetings and any other suitable actions.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Eligible to work within the UK with no sponsorship.
  • Educated to a tertiary degree level.
  • A scientific background would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity working within a pharmaceutical organisation.
  • Acquaintance working with various shareholders to common objectives.
  • Prior involvement in handling and prioritising work demands to meet deadlines.
  • Familiar with working in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of learning and develop knowledge on all critical company systems and procedures.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Able to use/learn new technologies as well as train others when necessary.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information.
