Analytical Development Senior leader

This is a great time to join a growing mid-sized pharma who are committed to developing innovative long-acting injectable medicines in many different therapeutic areas. This new role allows the right senior level candidate to use their expertise and experience within analytical development to drive the company's objectives forward by overseeing and leading the company's analytical strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and strategize the company's Analytical Method Development activities for development projects.
• Develop and implement work plans, provide appropriate resources, and incorporate expert knowledge, scientific and regulatory considerations, and business needs.
• Develop fit-for-purpose AMs and monitor changes for all development steps.
• Ensure product specifications, oversee testing and sampling, manage quality control activities, and support transfer of AM packages. 
• Manage and oversee a team of analytical and validation team 

Background: 

• Relevant degree (PhD ideally) 
• Strong experience in analytical development (9+ years ideal)
• Strong English both written and speaking
• Experience in all phases of pharmaceutical development - most importantly early stages 
• Experience in drug development processes, ideally for injectable products
• Experience in managing teams
