The Opportunity
Reporting to Senior Management, The Associate Project Manager will support multiple project management deliverables in the development of new products, assist with procurement, and contribute to the sales and marketing of their products globally. You will bring excellent administrative skills, coupled with a good understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies, clinical assessment, and marketing.
  • Review, contribute, analyse, and deliver project outcomes within the agreed project scope on time & on budget.
  • Assist with the coordination of a multiple range of activities including new product development.
  • Develop project business case and initiation documentation.
  • Liaise, report, and determine the resources required for activities ensuring that deliverables are met.
  • Liaise with QA and ensure all quality and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assist with analysis of all project data and generation of reports.
  • Ensure provision is made to address open issues and risks and follow-on actions.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the cost-effective delivery of products and information with sales and marketing.
  • Assist with logistics and inventory management and sales support under appropriate regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and analyse information about the projects undertaken, markets, use and outcomes.
  • Contribute to market assessment and development of products.
  • Management of key medical professionals and stakeholder engagement.
Position Requirements
  • Masters, or higher, degree in a biological or medical technology sector.
  • Experienced in delivering medical device development projects and products.
  • Scaffold device related discipline is highly regarded, though not essential.
  • Regulatory experience for medical devices in U.S., EU, and Australia.
  • Experience working under a medical device quality management system QMS.
  • Initiation and preparation of clinical trial documentation, medical writing, data analysis and report preparation.
  • Hospital and or laboratory management from a purchasing perspective and/or understanding of logistics and supply of regulated and temperature-controlled products.
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to move with changing priorities in this fast-paced environment.
