THE POSITION


Translational Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology (TMCP) is a global organization within BI´s Innovation Unit that builds a comprehensive understanding of diseases and drugs across the entire clinical development pipeline. To maximize translational knowledge generation, innovative biomarker, clinical pharmacology and data science strategies will be applied.

Tasks & responsibilities


  • As Knowledge & Information Manager in TMCP you will lead and drive our knowledge and information sharing activities to finally improve patient´s lives.
  • You will plan, implement and coordinate novel learning, information & knowledge strategies to support BI´s portfolio from early stage until launch.
  • In addition, you will develop and maintain solutions in the area of user enablement and tools including process improvements, e.g. the TMCP Information Hub.
  • You will closely collaborate with other communication functions within the company and establish effective state-of-the-art communication strategies.



Requirements


  • PhD in life sciences or Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Information or Knowledge Management or Knowledge Science or equivalent related work experience
  • In-depth knowledge about Information and Knowledge architecture and the digital environment in the information business and understanding of TMCP environment and content
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people, internally and externally
  • Strong IT skills, service & customer oriented
