Tasks & responsibilities

• In your new role, you are central contact person and accountable for lean and clear Quality contracts (Quality Assurance Agreements, QAAs) between BI Biopharma and their external customers.
• Within Biopharma,you lead QAA negotiations with our local or multi-site clients.
• You create and maintain QAAs in close collaboration with experts from all involved biopharmaceutical sites and you are responsible for divisional management and quality oversight of clients and contract labs to support the biopharmaceutical network comprising manufacturing sites Biberach, Vienna, Fremont and Shanghai.
• As Senior Global QAA Manager, you ensure that production, quality control and release are performed in a GMP and regulatory compliant manner and in accordance with all internal and external pharmaceutical regulations, applicable laws and the negotiated quality assurance agreements.
• You give input and improve the divisional QAA framework (e.g. training slides, how-to guides, divisional QAA SOP, QAA templates, databases, etc.) in collaboration with the QAA expert networ.
• In addition, you are responsible for the management of the QAA expert network within Biopharma.
• You execute divisional governance and quality oversight of clients and contract labs.

Requirements

• Master or Diploma degree in either Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other natural sciences, PhD preferable, with several years of professional experience in a GMP regulated environment on national and/or international basis
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams
• Thorough knowledge of national and international quality and GxP relevant regulations as well as modern quality management systems
• Ability to manage diverse relationships and motivating others
• Strong oral and written communication skills, English and German fluent
