Indirect Tax Specialist

*Indirect Tax Specialist - Global and Leading CDMO - Hybrid role in Dublin!*

Planet Pharma are working with a leading and Global CDMO who develop the important medicines and vaccines. They are at the forefront of research to deliver innovative health solutions that advance the prevention and treatment of diseases in people and animals.

The Role:

Working as part of a Global Tax organisation the Indirect Tax Specialist will assist the Global Indirect Tax Compliance leads to support the various indirect tax activities of the company globally.

This position requires demonstrated indirect tax knowledge, analytical abilities, communication skills, and will be responsible for assisting in various facets of the Global Indirect Tax process, including review of master data, transactional inputs, system design, and controls!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Indirect Tax returns for multiple EMEA jurisdictions;

• Ensuring VAT SOX and internal audit controls are adhered to;

• Act as key liaison between indirect tax and non-tax departments to raise VAT compliance profile, remedy tax issues at source and proactively manage risk;

• Actively monitor tax process and systems to ensure that that they are efficient, accurate, up to date and comply with current regulatory requirements;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a EMEA indirect taxes enviroment
• Fluent English required and other language an advantage;
• Track record demonstrating high standard of communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills required
• Microsoft Office, Ariba, SAP experience with tax determination software an advantage and Ariba.
