Job Details
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Compilation and recording of general ledger journals
- Complex payroll journals
- Bank transactions
- Accruals
- Amortization of prepayments
- Reconciliation and maintenance of payroll liability accounts
- Correction of errors and mis-postings
- Evidencing outstanding liabilities
- Reporting and explaining changes in month-end liabilities
- Responding to queries raised by the wider finance team
- Assisting with financial year-end audit requirements and fiscal year reporting requirements
- Assisting with the professional development of other members of the team
- Actively seek areas for continuous improvement of processes and reporting

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent time management skills with ability to work within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to confidentiality at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within a finance department
- Sound understanding of complex double-entry bookkeeping
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong command of business English, both written and verbal
