The role:

• Shorten the hardware development cycles by thinking out-of-the-box and engaging with suppliers at the earliest point possible to enable delivering prototypes quickly.
• Create and expand a large network of suppliers of components, machinery, R&D services and modules. Scout for new partners in which we can pioneer with. You're their point of contact.
• Become the voice of our suppliers for the company.
• Become a part of our company's strategic procurement community and make sure that there is timely on-boarding of and smooth transfer to serial suppliers.
• Perform both the TCO and built in cost models and drive with them to make-buy, modularization and standardization decisions that are designed into the product immediately.
• Give assistance in improving the advanced procurement processes.
