Statistician

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Statistician to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on finding, developing and commercialising novel remedies to assist many.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for biostatistical aspects of the project and/or trial, the statistician is allocated to.
• Validate the suitableness of the planned analysis and author or monitor the writing of the trial statistical analysis plan.
• Conduct or monitor statistical analysis and communicate the outcomes and the presentation of the outcome with suitable team members.
• To set and/or defend decisions on statistical problems for the project, the statistician is allocated to, you will engage with authorities' statisticians.
• You will plan details of the randomisation schedule with the suitable members of the project team.
• Evaluate and approve on protocol and CRF as well as their amendments, prior to their use or proposal to approval committees.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Able to work rendering to timelines and complete project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a mathematics, statistics or similar field.
• Know-how of statistics and its implementations in clinical trials.
• Expertise on statistical software such as SAS, and of data management principles and tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in a statistician role within clinical development in a pharmaceutical organisation or CRO.
• Know-how of global clinical research guidelines and needs.
• Fluency in the English language.
