Are you an experienced Scientific Director in a Med Comms agency?
RBW Consulting is partnered with a global Medical Communications agency looking for a Scientific Director
Must have 4 years of publications experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role and ideally with experience in hematology and oncology
Responsibilities:
- To work with the SSD to deliver high quality scientific content on behalf of existing publications clients To maintain the highest standards of work, including scientific accuracy, by implementing appropriate quality control measures at relevant stages of each project To ensure that all content-related aspects of the projects are completed on time, to the client’s brief and within budget To coach/mentor/manage junior Scientific Services team members within the group on a project-by-project basis To liaise with senior management, writers, editors, Client Service, digital, designers and artworkers where necessary to coordinate the delivery of projects To contribute to the training of the Scientific Services team To contribute to organic business growth To help achieve annual targets through successful new business activity
Requirements:
- An advanced degree (or equivalent relevant experience) in a life sciences or clinical discipline Typically, 7+ years of medical communications (or HEOR/market access, as appropriate) experience, preferably gained across both publications and non-publications medcomms deliverables A strong command of the English language and ability to communicate complex scientific ideas effectively, both orally and in writing In-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic area(s), as well as ability to assimilate new information, working across or switching between multiple areas as needed Ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate (in a variety of formats and styles) complex scientific and clinical data
