Due to continuous growth, RBW Consulting is searching for an Account Director, based in the UK for a leading Medical Communications agency.

 

Working with leading pharmaceutical clients, they are offering the ability to work remotely or hybrid within one of their offices across the UK. This could either be London, Oxford, Manchester, or Cheshire.

 

As an Account Director, you will lead the delivery across accounts and implement client strategic programs, and lead all strategic discussions with clients. The role will be varied and could include scientific and strategic consultation, publications planning, and management of professional relations with leading academics, organisation of satellite symposia and stand-alone meetings, and development of a range of print and digital medical education projects.

 

You will be someone who enjoys the challenge of acquiring scientific knowledge and expertise across different therapy areas and developing excellent relationships with clients. Using your strong project management skills and scientific expertise, you will lead a team to deliver a range of services to clients.

 

Experience required:

  • BSc in Life Sciences
  • Previous experience working for a medical communications agency or relevant pharma marketing experience
  • Proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management
  • Strong therapy area experience
  • Experienced in developing strategic communication plans and programmes
  • Good financial understanding and experience with budgeting
  • A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills
