THE POSITION


Global Real Estate & Facility Management is a global organization with more than 550 employees within the Enabling Function and working in close collaboration with external Facility Management suppliers. On our journey, we transform facility management and workplaces through innovation to drive competitiveness, agility and sustainability.

In order to guide Global Real Estate & Facility Management on this journey the Senior Manager Facility Management Strategy is responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring execution of the global facility management strategy, as well as monitoring standards and implementing strong global governance to ensure compliance.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • In your new role, you identify needs and harmonize FM services and solutions across the corporation that contribute to and support the business.
  • In addition to that, you develop the facility management roadmap, the strategy for services with own provision and services with supplier provision and you lead the alignment with the GFE regions and Global Business Partners.
  • You are responsible for the development of decision-making basis of facility management concept including vision and goal setting, reporting, performance measurement mechanism, facility management process definition and quality management system for in-house and outsourced services.
  • In close collaboration with Finance, HR, Sourcing and business partners, you facilitate strategic conversations to connect organizational business objectives with project goals and develop future facilities management strategies.
  • Based on your strategic thinking, you drive initiatives to transform the global, regional and local facility management to provide harmonized, innovative and integrated facility management solutions.
  • Furthermore, you manage organizational risks and build internal buy-in for governance activities and functions.
  • Finally, you discover and utilize internal and external research, benchmarks and trends to facilitate discussions with business partners to drive digital innovation.



Requirements


  • Master’s degree in Economics, Technical Studies or Engineering with focus on facility management or equivalent
  • Longterm practical experience in strategy and key success factors of global facility management models, steering/tracking and performance reviews on global level within corporate settings
  • Proven track record in a global environment (including diverse cultures) with work experience in at least two different countries and in developing global strategies
  • Experience in managing change and transformation in facility management organizations
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with strategic and long-term thinking and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent transparent and effective communication skills in minimum 2 languages, English is pre-requisite
