QA Manager

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a QA Manager to join a fantastic pharmaceutical establishment on a contract basis located in Ghent. Our client is focused on producing healthier societies.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will guide the QA Team, offering training, mentoring and performance management team members.
• Handle relations with external vendors and contractors when required.
• Guarantee that CAR-T cell therapies are developed and produces in compliance with regulatory needs and industry standards.
• Consistently improve the QA process, recognising prospects for automation and effective gains.
• Supervise and report on project progress, recognising and acknowledging problems and risks as they rise and escalate.
• Any other assigned duties.

• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Able to think analytically with the ability to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Acquaintance with quality assurance tools and strategies.
• Familiarity with CAR-T cell therapy development and production would be beneficial for the role.
• Willing to travel for business needs occasionally to Beerse.
• At least 5+ years of experience within quality assurance within a biopharmaceutical organisation, with at least 3 years of experience in managing a QA team.
• Educated to an advanced degree level in an engineering, science or pharmaceutical field.
