Job Details

Proclinical are recruiting a Contract Director Study Leader for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the UK. The client is focused on distributing transformative remedies.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for oversight of CROs and any other clinically outsourced third party vendors for outsourced studies and programs.
  • Guide risk management and quality efforts to guarantee study compliance and consistent inspection promptness.
  • Responsible for the quality of study planning information into pertinent planning systems such as IMPACT, PLANIT, etc.
  • Lead the study team in the development of outsourcing specifications and vendor selection.
  • Participate in the operational interactions with external bodies, which involves regulatory agencies, partners/providers and external collaborators.
  • Execute agreed study level procedure and technology for early oncology clinical studies.
  • The ideal candidate will offer contributions to predicting and handling study delivery costs, resources and deadlines.
  • Discuss study level reports and status updates for early oncology clinical studies.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a pertinent field, ideally a medical or biological science. An advanced degree would be preferable.
  • A programme management qualification such as an MBA, PRINCE2, etc.
  • Familiarity within numerous academic/CRO/Sponsor establishments and countries.
  • Knowledge of oncology clinical delivery.
  • At least 10 years of experience within drug development exhibited in numerous roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience guiding studies/programs within clinical development.
  • Expertise on the clinical and pharmaceutical drug development procedure.
  • Acquaintance with driving operational delivery to timelines, quality and cost.
  • Previous involvement guiding delivery through both internal and external corporations.
  • Familiarity within a project management role in the context of clinical drug development.
  • Acquaintance with both working and guiding matrix teams.
  • Works well with others.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of resolving issues.
  • Prior involvement in offering clear needs for external contracts.
  • Former involvement in selecting external suppliers and development/evaluation of contracts.
  • Ability for oversight of external suppliers.
  • Acquaintance with early phase clinical delivery.
