Charles River Safety Assessment is currently looking for a Global Crops and Chemicals sales Manager with a strong knowledge over industrial chemical market and/or Agrochemical market Area for our Crops and Chemicals services. This position is fully remote, but our CRL sites can also host you for you.

Responsible for the strategy and team management in Europe, you will be directly reporting to the Director Business Development SA Europe and manage a team composed of about 10 Business Developers across Europe your goal is to strategize to ensure the efficient and effective operation of sales activities and ensure consistency in the selling process.

As a Global Crops and Chemicals sales Manager having over 10 Years of experience in a CRO environment and knowledge in regulatory affairs, you are known for your communication, leadership and management skills and it is in your genuine interest to coachteam members to grow business in their territories.

Your main responsibilities are the following:

  • You have at heart to develop the targets and implement short and long-term sales strategies and objectives to achieve the Company’s revenue goals.
  • You will be asked to provide input on sales objectives, opportunities, and competition to senior business leadership, develop and implement annual sales plans and supporting sales programs.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs, buying behavior, purchasing and decision-making and recommend creative solutions, methods, and procedures to meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement pricing and discounting in conjunction with senior leadership to ensure services are competitive while retaining profitability.
  • Oversee and assist with developing training programs designed to teach staff how to sell the entire portfolio of CR Crops and Chemicals services.
  • Recommend service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Direct activities of assigned group(s) to ensure optimum performance of the group/function.
  • Develop short- and long-range operating objectives, organizational structure, staffing requirements and succession plans.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies


Profil :

  • Education: Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Agrochemistry. A PhD is a plus.
  • Language: You are fluent in English
  • You have previously coached and managed a sales team and are used to working in a multicultural environment.


Other:

  • This position is remote and requires regular travels throughout our European sites and should be able to easily access some of our sites.
  • You’ll participate in sales meetings and trade shows as required
  • Base Salary and 20% SCP, car allowance, full IT equipment and various benefits according to the country where you are located.

  Here in Scotland, based at our site in Tranent, East Lothian, we offer a complete array of Safety Assessment services from complete IND-enabling programs to stand-alone preclinical studies, our preclinical CRO services provide a full range of in vivo and in vitro testing evaluations and regulatory support for the safety assessment of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and animal health products as well as chemicalsagrochemicals, and biocides. Our scientific and regulatory staff develop and execute individual preclinical studies or customized programs to ensure that drug efficacy and safety assessments are conducted in the most efficient manner.
