About This Job:

This role entails delivery of key support to Marketing Managers and the wider commercial team; assisting in coordination and implementation of Marketing Plans across a wide range of therapeutic areas to help achieve individual product sales targets, within an established promotional budget, and facilitate achievement of overall company objectives.

It includes responsibility for ensuring processes for Purchase Order’s and invoices, 3rd Party Contracts and Ethics & Compliance are followed in accordance with Company policy/SOPs.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Provides support and co-ordination of activities on Marketing projects.
  • Coordination of advertising and promotional materials across brands in line with established compliance requirements, including withdrawals and management of printed stock.
  • Supporting the team in the administration of sales force meetings, including coordination of Invitations, agendas, and speaker slides and maintenance of a central drive for brand specific communications
  • Ensure adherence to Astellas policies relating to Ethics and Compliance standards, coordination of 3rd Party contracts across Commercial, Medical and Market Access and manages the digital filing/archiving system
  • Point of contact for Veeva CRM system locally.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent and accurate typing speeds and intermediary or advanced command of Computer packages: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous expertise for end-to-end process including working with Procurement and Finance functions and third parties
  • Marketing and Digital marketing capabilities
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to multitask and to work to tight deadlines
  • Appreciation of relevant Compliance and Regulatory legislation and application

Preferred Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Pharma sector experience within Sales and Marketing, and understanding of Pharmaceutical Industry regulations
  • Working knowledge of PromoMats – digital approval and archiving system
  • A good awareness of Brand objectives

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Graduate or equivalent professional experience
