Associate Director, Clinical Data Management

I am working with an international, technology-led Contract Research Organisation that specialises in providing intricate services in the field of clinical trials (phase I-IV). At the forefront of advanced clinical trials for over two decades, this company has firmly cemented itself as a market powerhouse in its field.

As a medium-sized CRO, this company successfully conducts international studies with more than 10,000 patients across a variety of therapy areas, namely immune-oncology and cell & gene therapies.

I am looking for an Associate Director, Clinical Data Management to help drive the company’s objective of identifying innovative ways of designing, maintaining, and reviewing clinical trial data.

This role boasts remote, flexible working.

The following will be the primary duties of this position:

• Oversee delivery and ensure the development of the Clinical Data Management team against key metrics
• Establish and maintain key relationships with internal stakeholders, namely senior management, to develop and improve the quality of data
• Oversee delivery, maintenance, and continual review of various projects
• Effectively work to defined budgets and timelines
• Offer continuous direction, insight, and advice to data management project managers  
• When required, participation in external and internal presentations, and aid in any appropriate business development

The ideal candidate would possess the following preferred abilities, credentials, and experience:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a management role
• At least 2 years background in a CRO
• Therapeutic knowledge and experience in oncology is a must
• Proven record of working on international projects A ‘hands-on’ approach, supporting junior members with tasks when necessary
• Ability to work diligently, ensuring tight deadlines are met, in a fast-paced environment
