EU Customer Engagement Excellence Manager
Location: Amsterdam
Reporting to the Regional Head of business Excellence
Barrington James are long term partners of a leading global pharmaceutical organisation based out of Amsterdam. We are currently focussed on expanding their service offering across Europe due their 2022 success and upcoming product launches.
As part of their 2023 expansion we are looking for a European Customer Engagement manager that can work across their entire EU counterpart. Working alongside 8 specific countries with the main aim to improve customer engagement and future priorities for the business.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Head of their Business excellence function, collaborating with them day to day and ensuring the success of their current and future pipeline.
The role:
- Defining, designing, and implementing a framework within the EU regional function, aiming to improving customer engagement for all the customer facing teams within the business
- Be accountable for strategic account management, coaching and overseeing of regional incentive schemes. Make certain that the needs for specific training are identified, along with the teams' future priorities.
- Interact with 8 countries across Central Europe, working with local country heads to steer priorities and projects, allocation of resources and focus areas in the right direction
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within the region e.g., medical, market access and commercial teams
- Interact with and engage with global colleagues from other regions outside of Europe understanding the global initiatives in functions and implementing strategies that could work for both businesses / function offerings. Aiming to introduce a hybrid customer engagement model.
Key Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant life science discipline. The MBA is a plus
- It's crucial to have a successful track record in account management and customer-facing positions.
- TA (Therapeutical Area) knowledge – Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Metabolic
- Business savvy, and a love of analytics and data
- Excellent interpersonal and persuading abilities
- Powerful lateral leadership abilities
- Strong stakeholder management – Ability to manage and influence decisions
- High level of proficiency in the English language
