At Labcorp Drug Development in Eye, Suffolk we are looking to recruit a Laboratory Analyst to join our experienced Physico Chemical Testing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chemists in an established physico-chemical testing laboratory. Whilst receiving training in the laboratory methods and techniques required to evaluate the individual properties of a chemical you will also develop a knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and its importance in regulatory studies.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Physico-chemical properties testing
  • Shelf-life stability testing
  • Instrumental analysis
  • Recording actions and observations in accordance with GLP
  • Data processing and interpretation

Education:
  • BSc in Chemistry or related subject


All training provided however the successful candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Knowledge in the use of standard laboratory equipment
  • A genuine interest in science and analysis
  • Proficiency with I.T and computer software packages such as excel
  • Good numeracy
  • Organised and self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative once trained
  • Any knowledge and/or experience with HPLC or GC in a GLP environment advantageous
