Business Insights Analyst - Neurology - Berkshire/Home based

This UK based, international business is dedicated to making breakthroughs and providing ethical treatments and services to people living with long term neurological conditions like Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. Active in over 30 markets including the US, EU and Japan, they work with an ever expanding number of affiliates and partners to optimize their global reach, improving the quality of life of patients all over the world through getting the right treatment at the right time.

The role of Business Insights Analyst will analyse international sales and activity data supporting affiliates and international partners. They will provide actionable recommendations for areas in which improvements can be made and business opportunities. Key will be developing forecast models for their products across UK & International markets and interrogating affiliate business case assumptions. You will support business development activities, assessing ROI and risk.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Extract, collate and organise data from a range of systems for analysis
  • Develop long term sales forecasts for brands, provide analysis of affiliate & partner performance versus agreed targets
  • Support the UK field force by creating, maintaining and actively improving sales and activity reports
  • Creation and maintenance of international sales reporting solutions, identifying key trends and opportunities within the market place
  • Monitors and creates UK national and subnational KPI sets, focusing on patient retention and sales vs effort
  • Responsible for creating the initial sub-national targets and roll-out of the territory business planning template
  • Review & support international affiliate business cases
  • Analyse & provide recommendations on business opportunities identified by the commercial team

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • High level of experience and ability in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledge and experience of Word and Outlook
  • Ability to use a wide range of secondary data sources including, but not limited to; standard sales,
    prescription, medical and promotional audits as well as general business and pharmaceutical industry sources of intelligence as required
  • Ability to prioritise, based upon business needs
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to be effective at all levels. With the ability to deal with potentially sensitive issues
  • Attention to detail
  • Scientific or business based degree
  • Happy to work autonomously and be resourceful - role is largely independent so the ability to research and solve problems without relying on others is important
  • Flexible- able to take on or assist with extra projects on top of regular workload
