Market Access and Public Affairs Lead - UK  & IRE

Hybrid role with travel to office twice a week in London 

I am partnered with a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the process of expanding their UK focussed division, they are seeking a Market Access Manager to work across their entire pipeline in Oncology, Neurology and Nephrology. This is a fantastic opportunity that can help propel a talented market access specialist into the industry where you can work on a range of innovative medicines.

You will be a recognisable technical expert within Market Access, developing, leading and implementing Market Access and HTA strategies across the UK & IRE. You will report directly into the Market Access Director offering advice and support on all Market Access deliverables.

 

The ROLE;

  • You will provide coaching, training and mentoring to market access colleagues in order to ensure effective implementation of all Market Access initiatives
  • Drive pricing and reimbursement insights - Creating a robust and validated pricing strategy, forecast and business case study
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues internally at a global and regional level identifying opportunities for evidence generation
  • Manage 3rd party agencies who are providing services and information to support the development of market access materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams on HTA requirements to ensure successful delivery of HTA outcomes
  • Develop value messages that meet the payer needs

MUST HAVE Qualifications;

  • 4 - 5 years experience working in UK focussed Market Access or HTA role (Office and/ or Field based roles)
  • Previous HTA experience - Ideally experience working with the NICE, SMC or NCPE systems
  • Solid understanding of the Market Access system and principles in the UK and Ireland
  • Experience in pre- launch and launch market access planning
  • Strong project management and experience managing vendors and external teams
  • Proven record of delivering high quality outputs on time

DESIRABLE Qualifications; 

  • Previous experience working with Anaemia, Rare diseases, oncology or mental health
  • Record of implementing and creating successful market access strategies
  • Understanding of the HTA and reimbursement process
  • Understanding or working knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe Pricing, reimbursement or HTA processes
  • Master’s degree within Health Economics, Epidemiology or another related discipline
  • Published publications or papers would be highly attractive.
  • Fluent in English: Other languages would be beneficial
