THE POSITION

As Head of Site Management, you will be accountable for managing the facilities at our sites in Germany with end-to-end responsibility. Your primary focus will be on customer satisfaction and meeting overall budget goals.

This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role you will set up budget plans for building managers and report to Real Estate and Facility Management. This includes regular updates regarding budget plan implementation to the respective heads.
  • You will act as a key contact and provide solutions on reported issues (e.g., via a ticket system).
  • For special events on site, you will develop and provide solutions to support building managers, e.g., road closures, ensuring adequate parking etc.
  • You will take over responsibilities in relocation management, including space management/planning, occupancy scheduling.
  • As interface between building managers, Engineering, customers/clients, and other parties, you will develop holistic concepts and ensure efficient stakeholder management.


Requirements

  • Academic degree (e.g., BA / BSc) in economics, business administration, logistics, facility management or comparable with several years professional experience in Facility Management
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to set priorities
  • Proven leadership experience in managing project teams in a matrix organization and facilitating collaboration
  • Good understanding of business requirements across functions and of local regulatory requirements, ideally with GxP experience (regulatory inspections / audits)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency at managing budgets, using tools and prioritizing resources to continuously improve business processes
  • Strong communication and networking skills across functions (within and outside the pharmaceutical industry)
