Summary of the Position :

We are seeking an Informatics Engineer to join our Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MS&T) Department. This person will be responsible for trending of manufacturing data, statistical analyses of Manufacturing data in JMP, data visualization in Power BI and other platforms, and implementing data warehouse solutions for a fast-paced and compliant environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
  • Implementing data solutions for the collection, analysis, and visualization of manufacturing data and trends
  • Trending of drug substance process data, identification and investigation of trends
  • Statistical analyses of drug substance process data, including control charts, box plots, multivariate analyses, fit models, process capability analyses, and setting of control limits and specifications
  • Administration and configuration of a Part 11 compliant data warehouse and trending software solution
  • Meeting with key Novavax stakeholders to identify data set needs and work with IT to deliver technical solutions to satisfy those needs
  • Providing analytic solutions to provide visibility into manufacturing performance

Minimum Requirements :
  • BS in relevant scientific discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Experience with statistical analyses, statistical process control, CPV, and software and platforms like JMP and Power BI
  • Experience with computer programming and scripting languages like Python, R, and JSL
  • Proven experience in collaborating in matrix teams in a technical environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Part 11 compliance and GMP requirements for data integrity
