Job Details
What to Expect...
- Drives the day to day performance and delivery in the global department and continually develops the science, strategy and breadth of the departmental capabilities.
- Meets client expectations in the delivery of testing services
- Responsible for driving overall performance and delivery of on time testing services for the global department.
o Responsible for the global technical and administrative management of the Genomics department
o Responsible for providing global leadership in developing Labcorp capabilities in Genomics.
o Responsible for initiating and supporting business development activities.
o Responsible for the quality performance of all technical services associated with assigned scientific discipline.
o Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction.
o Responsible for global sites in meeting regulatory requirements.
o Responsible for meeting established quality measures and on time responses to quality issues (QTM, PT, QCSR, etc.).
Provides consultative support to the Sales department as required and to ensure the laboratory has the capability to deliver on services sold.
o Participates in client visits, audits and inquiries; ensures complete fulfillment of requests and audit findings.
Experience:
Required:
- Requires 7 years management experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses
Required:
- Requires BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or other Life Science; or Medical Technology degree.
- Prefer Master's degree or PhD in a scientific discipline or business administration
- Molecular Genomics experience is a plus
- Fluent in English; Command of French is a plus.
- Computer literate.
