THE POSITION

As Process Manager in our Forecast & Demand Planning team, you are part of a globally operating team that transforms Boehringer Ingelheim’s (BI) global Supply Chain by designing, building, and continuously improving processes.
The scope for this position focuses on the Implementation of SAP IBP in the process area Network Planning and/or Sales Forecasting. You will be leading or supporting a global project team which ensures a successful implementation of new processes supported by the new system SAP IBP.

As part of our motivated team, you have the opportunity to drive change within our global supply network and to establish new process areas and systems within our organization.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your role as project lead or project member in strategic projects, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop proposals together with our stakeholders.
  • You will independently design, build and maintain efficient global processes and define their level of standardization.
  • Additionally, you will work in cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of our standardized processes in global projects.
  • You will manage user communities and spread best practices for example by training our key users, executing as well as documenting testing and training activities.
  • Finally, you will manage external consultants and ensure their adherence to BI standards.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, IT or similar, alternatively bachelor’s degree with several years’ relevant experience
  • Several years of in-depth experience in Supply Chain Management ideally in Sales Forecasting/ Demand Planning
  • High system affinity paired with extensive SAP / ERP experience (SAP APO, SAP IBP is a benefit)
  • Dedicated solution- and result orientation with passion for working on complex challenges and a positive can-do attitude
  • Project work experience and / or consulting background preferred
  • Dedicated team player and excellent communication skills in English, including preparation of documentation for presentation
