Summary:

Play a key role in shaping the objectives of the Global Deal Strategy organization, charged with developing new and innovative partnership models to support the business. Partners with Syneos Health Business Development, Finance and Business Unit leadership to develop and enable deal strategy and execution for critical customer deals. Collects and interprets multiple types of financial and operational data to support the Company’s pricing strategy across portfolio of new business. Build detailed financial models that leverage internal systems to support the operational business units and executive management in pricing and partnership decisions.

Essential Functions:
  • (Collaborates with VP, Global Deal Strategy, Business Development, Proposals, and Therapeutic Business Units to develop tailored pricing solutions for key customers.
  • Develops internal and external presentations that clearly articulate strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Insights and ISG to Develop high quality projections models that incorporate complex financial and operational data to support pricing strategy and decision making.
  • Produces high quality reporting and analysis to management, as well as ad hoc analyses and reports as directed.
  • Tracks CRO industry trends to ensure the Company is positioned as the leader in developing and executing innovative partnerships.
  • Analyzes strategic partnership opportunities with potential clinical development partners as well as ad-hoc partnership opportunities with other partners including service providers and research institutions.
  • Attends customer meetings when necessary to present partnership strategies.
  • Provide RFI support as required.

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for:
    • BS degree in a business, finance, accounting, economics or health sciences related field, or equivalent education and experience.
    • Pursuing an advanced degree in business or health sciences field preferred.
    • Project Management experience or previous pricing/budgeting experience in the CRO industry highly preferred.
    • Highly capable excel skills with experience building financial models . Strong presentation skills and highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
    • Basic understanding of corporate accounting. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
    • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieve.
    • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary.
    • Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience.
