THE POSITION


As newest member of CD Finance & Group Functions, Global Facilities & Engineering (GFE) bundles EHS, Security & Crisis Management, Real Estate & Facility Management and Engineering globally, striving to serve BI’s site network as strong infrastructure and business partner.
Depending on your experience and skills, this position can be filled either as Manager Global Security Governance or Senior Manager Global Security Governance.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • As Manager Global Security Governance you create, maintain and implement BI's Security Standards in order to protect BI employees, BI sites, products and know-how.
  • In this position you monitor the resilience levels and effectiveness of implemented security measures (technically as well as behaviorally).
  • The preparation of the needed cooperation between internal and external partners to ensure the minimum level of agreed security measures is part of your new role. This includes also compensatory measures for foreseeable situations.
  • Being part of the Global Security & Crisis Management team, you support crisis management in case of security situations / incidents (e.g. link between crisis teams, involved individuals and others who are involved in the crisis management).
  • You develop security assessments and investigation capabilities based on latest technologies and best in class concepts.
  • You provide actionable, timely and precise geopolitical and security intelligence from a global perspective across all BI functions.


Additional tasks and responsibilities as Senior Manager

  • You have a strategic impact on overall GFE and its direction whilst implementing newest methods and integrating them into the existing landscape and organization.
  • Also, you will create new policies and procedures that excel current performance, offer long-term compliance and success in all fields in responsibility.



Requirements


  • Master's degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management, or similar course of study, with several years of industry experience in risk and security
  • Depending on responsibilities within the function, specific skills are required in the following areas: security intelligence, security assessments, security investigations, and security awareness
  • Knowledge in strategies, key success factors and key business models
  • Knowledge of crime phenomena and organized crime structure, modus operandi, and intelligence/report compilation
  • Excellent communication skills in English, basic German skills as a plus


Additional requirements as Senior Manager

  • Long-term industry experience in the areas of security & risk management
  • In-depth knowledge in strategies, key success factors and key business models for all business units and functions
  • A global network within the security community extending over also to other stakeholders from insurance, law enforcement and other industries
