THE POSITION


In your new role you define the global vision and strategy for a capability “Learning,Training & Coaching - MSLs/FLMs”, you will lead the capability squad in the implementation of the capability roadmap, and manage global capability operations in a compliant and sustainable manner across the HP Regions/Corporate Functions. Considers the requirements of customers in the changing healthcare landscape and the global cross-functional GTM model; considers needs of the capability users in the HP Regions/Corporate Functions, and the business value of the capability. Collaborates with other capability owners to ensure end-to-end alignment of the capability across the capability portfolio and supports the training, promotion and adoption of best practices across capability users.


Tasks & responsibilities


  • In your new role, you will define the cross-functional vision and strategy and you will evaluate current capability performance and develop the strategic roadmap to realize the capability vision and business value.
  • You will ensure alignment with customer needs, the GTM model, other capability roadmaps, cross-functional user priorities, as well as available budgets/FTEs.
  • As Teamlead for cross-functional capability squad you also work in an agile collaborative manner in planning and executing on projects/ deliverables in the capability roadmap (p.ex. you work with Sourcing & IT Capability lead to define global vendor sourcing strategy, vendor selection criteria, and managing on-going vendor relationships).
  • You will identify where local or functional exceptions/deviations are required while you also ensuring that the capability is managed in a consistent and sustainable manner across R/OPUs and corporate functions.
  • In collaboration with IT capability owners you will evaluate and implement features/changes to the required tools/platforms, as well as platform integrations based on the strategic roadmap.
  • You will ensure timely evaluation, execution, and testing of routine demands for minor upgrades and enhancements and monitor operational performance of the tools/platforms and proactively addresses issues in a timely manner.
  • Finally, you will be responsibility for managing data and system owners, integrity, security and compliance with respect to applicable global BI procedures and SOPs.



Requirements


  • Advanced degree (e.g. Master) in Health Business, Health Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Medicine or Biology) and equivalent work experience
  • Long-term experience in global capability management and/or capability user roles with increasing responsibilities, in strategic management in a multinational corporation, preferably pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Medical Affairs on a (R)OPU and/or corporate level with In-depth knowledge of the processes and standards in Medical Affairs, especially in medical customer-facing roles and/or Medical Affairs Operations/Excellence
  • Ability to define business processes, standards/metrics, implement technical tools/solutions, design training curriculum, manage data, all while ensuring customer, business and user requirements are achieved
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to successfully lead and coach global cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities, as well as work with agile mindset/methods/tools and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop assets
  • Specific accreditations/certifications may be required depending on the capability assigned
