The Medical Director Rheumatology Lupus Scoring will work within a multidisciplinary team to support client deliverables, including grading services for efficacy indices, business development, communication and training:
  • Provide input in protocol development/amendment
  • Review data to ensure concordance across efficacy assessments
  • Perform BILAG and MDAAT grading for each organ system, if applicable.
  • Trains study teams (protocol specific training on efficacy tools).
  • Start-up activities including site selection and set up
  • Data analysis and close out activities
  • Interacts with clients and participates in client meetings as necessary to support and maintain new business.
  • Participates in developing new and existing business
  • Other tasks as needed to assist with project or team needs

  • Medical Degree (MD) and formal rheumatology fellowship training & board certification / specialization with Expertise in SLE is preferred
  • Extensive experience with global clinical trials is desired.
  • Substantial CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical experience including project leadership and interaction with therapeutic and medical experts required
  • Ability to present to and train global audiences
  • Understands clinical data management systems or electronic data capture software (RAVE and eLAS knowledge preferred).
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of computerized information systems and standard application software (Windows, MS Office).
  • Performs duties at a high standard with limited supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of your time
