Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Senior Manager, IT Governance to join a fantastic medical devices establishment on a permanent basis located in Frankfurt. Our client is focused on supplying products to treat ophthalmological issues.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will outline policies, procedures, tactics, standards, and regulations using best practice frameworks, while also evaluating present approaches and recommending improvements.
  • Recognise the resources, structures and cultural changed needed to guarantee that the IT division is agile and adaptable to implement business methods.
  • You will cooperate with IT leaders and finance function to assist with preparing, managing and optimising the yearly IT budget.
  • Guarantee specific metrics and measures are integrated into solutions facilitating consistent improvement.
  • To drive agile adoption within the enterprise for all IT projects, you will collaborate with international head of IT and digital.
  • To handle the various vendors the IT function engages on a current basis, you will develop an arranged method and plan.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Desire to work for an expanding medical technology establishment.
  • At least 10 years of experience in an IT Governance or IT Program Management role partaking in the business and digital transformation tasks in a healthcare organisation ideally.
  • Expertise on business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
  • Familiarity with large scale program and business process management principles, procedures and tools.
  • Acquaintance with performance metrics and measures, customer examination, cost/benefit analysis, benchmarking, process mapping/simulations, data collection, problem recognition, etc.
  • Comprehension of where technology initiatives overlap, working with others to avoid duplication and recognise best practices that can be utilised to assist the wider business.
  • Comprehension of the various types of agile principles, strategies and frameworks, specifically those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
  • Previous involvement in IT procurement and vendor deliberation.
  • Expertise on tools, ideas, strategies, and practices of business process reengineering, change management, etc.
  • Familiarity with handling budgets and distributing multi-million-dollar programs.
  • A certification in professional project management would be ideal.
  • Capable of balancing both long-term and short-terms repercussions of individual decisions and organisation objectives.
