About this job:

The role of the Regional Access Manager, in coordination and partnership with the other areas in the field and headquarters, is responsible for guiding and implementing the activities aimed at ensuring the most efficient access conditions to regional markets and local products of the Astellas portfolio, maintaining the best access conditions throughout the life cycle of the products.

As a Regional Access Manager you will:

  • Analyse the regional environment, interpreting the current scenario and possible future scenarios by defining opportunities and any critical issues for access and business strategies.
  • Lead the processes for implementing access strategies in the region, considering priorities of the area of competence as defined in the regional plans developed in collaboration with the Corporate Sales, Medical and Marketing Functions.
  • Establish and maintain solid and lasting relationships with all the Stakeholders of the Regional Pharmaceuticals Services, Regional Agencies, Therapeutic Commissions and Pharmacists, amongst others, by enhancing the Astellas brand potential.
  • Ensure full compliance with the procedures and formalities in total agreement with current legislation, the code of conduct and conduct of Astellas.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Applicable work experience as Regional Access Manager, Key Account Manager, or other similar roles related to Market Access in a pharmaceutical company.
  • General knowledge of the regional market in the territory assigned.
  • Detailed knowledge of the sanitary structure in the area and working procedures of the health system at a regional and national level.

Preferred Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to present in a clear and professional manner
  • Project Management experience, specially leading projects.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Degree or studies in Natural Sciences, Medical Doctor, Pharmacy, Economics, and similar.
  • Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
