The Role:
You will work as part of a Global team supporting business development in the winning of new business for ICON, and working with a wide range of departments across all ICON locations.
- Driving the development of complex budgets in responseto client RFPs
- Co-ordination and analysis of information gathered from Senior Management
- Assembling project assumptions working closely with colleagues in other departments, including operations, legal, finance and business development
- Compiling high quality customer-focused proposal documents by collecting pertinent study specifications from business leaders
- Analysing data to ensure essential bid information is accurate and complete
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
- Involvement in process and budget tool improvement initiatives
You will be:
- Process-driven, a strong communicator, a problem solver and an analytical thinker.
- Able to work effectively within a deadline driven environment and are self-motivated with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or business
- At least 2-3 years’ industry experience with a strong working knowledge of clinical trials
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel & Word skills, with grid management experience advantageous
