Associate Scientist - Immunology

Proclinical is recruiting an Associate Scientist - Immunology for a biotech corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Cambridge. For more information, please get in touch now!

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend and assess data and display discoveries to internal shareholders.
• Partake in forming the immunology team and work alongside the team and across the ecosystem.
• The ideal candidate will independently implement both in vitro and in vivo experiments for early-stage programs.
• Support the pre-clinical discovery studies both internally and externally with CROs.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• B.S./M.S. in an immunology or similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a pertinent organization
• Knowledge of T and B cell biology as well as mechanism of activity of autoimmune illnesses.
• Extensive experience in both human and mouse immunology.
• Knowledge of immune cell culture and standard immunology assays which involves multicolor flow cytometry, ELISpot, cytokine profiling (MSD/Luminex/ELISA), ICS, microscopy, etc.
• A self-starter who exhibits the ability to think critically and resolve issues.
• Works well with others cross-functionally within a fast-paced setting.
• Impeccable organizational, written and oral communication skills, in addition to efficient time management
• A high degree of flexibility.
• Familiarity with working efficiently within a matrix setting.
