THE POSITION

Global Real Estate & Facility Management (GFE) is a global organization with more than 500 employees within the Enabling Function. We design cost-efficient, reliable and high-quality real estate and facility management solutions by utilizing synergies and sourcing effects.
In order to guide Global Real Estate & Facility Management on this journey the (Senior) Manager Site Master Plan (SMP) Architect is responsible to develop long-term site masterplans for all strategic relevant sites on a global level. This includes site assessments and analysis, as well as the development of scenarios and the definition and monitoring of processes and standards for Master planning in alignment with global and local group functions and business units experts as well as implementing a strong global governance to ensure SMP compliance.


Tasks & responsibilities

• Your main objective will be to execute the development and update of site master plans for all business unit sites globally according to the SMP roadmap to implement strategic concepts.
  
• Thereby, you will provide standardized procedures and strong governance.
  
• You will further enable to implement Supply Network strategy at the production sites.
  
• Moreover, you will conduct a continuous stakeholder management approach on site and with third party parties (e.g. local authorities)
  
• You will proactively manage organizational risks and ensure compliance to local and site-specific regulations to ensure the company´s reputation.
  
• Furthermore, you will provide support to all global business partners (GFE, Strategy Teams, R&D, BUs, etc.) for advice questions and point of support for all matters relating to SMP
  

As Senior Manager SMP Architect, you have the following additional tasks & responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for leading the development of complex site master plans.
  
• You will prepare a prioritization of sites together with BU strategy departments considering the strategic importance as well as the complexity of sites.
  
• Above all, you will be responsible for designing and further developing global standards and processes together with global/corporate functions for a facility planning concept considering complex requirements from EHS, Quality, BU Engineering, Supply chain logistics.
  
• You will search and drive for innovations to integrate sustainability for generations goals into the site master plan.
  

Requirements

• Master´s degree in architecture, urban planning or Bachelor´s degree with long term practical experience within relevant field
  
• Experience in pharma production to assess the complexity of sites, building stock, infrastructure, and the entire value chain as well as all urban planning topics
  
• Deep understanding of change management, project management, cross functionally working with QA, EHS and finance and strategy teams
  
• In depth knowledge of international regulations and all relevant compliance aspects (FDA & EMA Audits, EHS audits, local & global Requirements)
  
• Strong analytical skills with strategic and long-term thinking and ability to propose options and solutions
  
• Creativity in design development & out of the box thinking
  
• You show multi cultural awareness and understanding working in international project teams also virtually
  
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in minimum 2 languages, English is pre-requisite
  

As Senior Manager SMP Architect, you further require:

• Long-term practical experience in successful management of international site planning projects
• Proven track record in a global environment with international working experience
  
• Excellent relationship management with key decision makers inside and outside the company
  
• Ability to facilitate strategic conversations to connect the business objectives of the organization with the project goals
