Job Details

Our client is an established international brand within medical communications. With offices throughout the world, they are currently seeking a Principal Medical Writer to join their team in Cheshire.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved with a range of materials for publications, meetings, and medical affairs. Working across a range of therapy areas including inflammation, diabetes, oncology, neurology and more, you will be creating and editing deliverables while providing scientific insight and support for editorial projects and mentoring junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and editing of a range of material while overseeing the work of junior team members
  • Leading and mentoring, and consistently providing scientific expertise where needed
  • Working closely with clients and relevant stakeholders
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Life science degree
  • Significant previous writing experience gained within a medical communications agency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Previous mentoring or line management experience
