Senior Accountant - Excellent Opportunity to gain experience in the pharmaceutical industry!

Planet Pharma are currently working with a growing pharmaceutical organisation who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany.

This company are going through an exciting phase of growth at the moment and this is a brand new role within the business that has come about as a consequence of business growth.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing general ledger entries, account reconciliations and all tasks in SAP S4/HANA
• Leading period closing process and preparing accurate monthly/quarterly and annual reporting of HGB and IFRS.
• Ensuring tax planning in Germany is in line with global tax compliance through working with global teams.

For this position, my client is looking for someone who is a qualified accountant and has extensive experience and knowledge on tax compliance requirements in Germany. Ideally, you will have experience working with SAP FI/CO.

This position offers hybrid working and will require 2-3 days working in their Germany office close to Leverkusen. You must be able to speak and write German at native level for this role.
