Job Details

This position supports the CPS clinical development strategies and the growth of our external site partnership network by collecting detailed information and maintaining the site repository. Document and data collection to include site capabilities and experience, study feasibilities and key metrics critical to the success of the business and optimization of the external site network.
  • Works closely with our commercial and operational teams by providing external site analytics, feasibility, capability, expertise and related information in support of CPS clinical trials.
  • Actively manages the Strategy & Planning Study Resourcing database and file repository for CPS clinical trial start up.
  • Interpretation and positioning skills, writing and presentation skills, database management, and internal and external customer management skills.


Essential Job Duties:

Site Strategy Support (i.e., site network and resourcing database maintenance, essential document collection, etc.) - 70%
  • Accountable for the growth and maintenance of the CPS external site network and documentation databases supporting data collection, analysis and presentation of key metrics for implementation of external site strategies for CPS clinical trials.
  • Obtain, enter and maintain data for quality, correctness and context for RFIs/RFPs, BDMs, client calls, capabilities presentations, external site qualification, audit history, issue escalation and resolution etc.
  • Collection and entry of external site data including: CDAs/MSAs, CVs of PIs/relevant staff, licenses, capabilities, experience, feasibility feedback, historical enrollment numbers, etc. documentation in support of clinical trials.
  • Maintain continuous surveillance of the site library and recommend relevant modifications to adapt to changing client and therapeutic pipelines in the context of changes in scope, regulatory requirements, and overall study needs.

    Produce standard reports and outputs with minimal supervision from more senior department staff.

    Deliver accurate, high quality deliverables to timelines and expectations.

    Utilize commonly employed tools and databases on a periodic basis to inform and support the growth of the site network that align with new business opportunities.

    Participate in the preparation of appropriate user manual / work instructions.

    Identify improvement areas of the department's tools and processes.

    Provide updates on monthly applicable site metrics for department, which includes any and all changes to market changes within the department.

    Provide data and input for internal and external presentations, investigations and escalations. Support the department's involvement in work streams, initiatives, new tools and technologies as directed by department managers.


Strategic Planning Support - 30%
  • Assist in the feasibility, assessment, and development of strategic study plans by providing relevant site data in response to pre- and post-award study deliverables - RFIs/ RFPs, BDMs, client calls, capabilities presentations, site governance and escalation or investigations, etc..
  • Leverage CPS tools to generate data in support of:
    • Geographical location of fit
    • Site Experience and expertise
  • Assist with the development of strategic study plans. Interacts with cross functional departments as needed to provide data and support to gain new business, maintaining strategic partners and inform Labcorp senior management.

    Active participation on cross-functional teams that plan, analyze, and implement short- term and long-term solutions to drive new business initiatives.

    Work on any other tasks as delegated by department managers.
