They are now seeking a Business Development Director to join their team

Role Overview:

The company are developing a clear structured strategy for growth. The core focus of the Business Developers will be to exploit your strengths in clinical services, raising the company’s brand and profile whilst confidently positioning them as a leader within the mid-sized pharma and biotech market. There are many opportunities to stand out and make a difference for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Attracting new clients and building strong relationship with them in assigned region.
  • Maintaining good relationship with the assigned existing clients and ensuring consistent, proactive account management.
  • Ensure completion of the assigned sales goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively look for solutions how to fulfil them.
  • Perform lead generation activities, attract new clients and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate filling of RFI questionnaires.
  • Coordinate RFPs of the assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate preparation for bid defence meetings and lead them.
  • Create regional sales development plans.
  • Create account plans of the assigned clients and proactively maintain them.
  • Ensure completion of the assigned sales goals.
  • Initiate and lead client meetings.
  • Represent the company in professional conferences and events.
  • Support execution of sales strategy and sales plans.
  • Maintain company CRM system.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a back-up for other employees in case of their absence according to the CEO orders.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the company activities and objectives, as assigned.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Life Sciences, Business or other University degree of relevant field.
  • At least 5-year of experience in sales or account management role in similar field.
  • Fluency in native language and professional level of English, both, oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of any other language (advantage).
  • Very good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of sales relevant systems, e.g. SalesForce (advantage).
  • Self-confidence, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Result-oriented approach.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team.
  • Ability to work independently in relation to the assigned accounts.
  • Flexible approach to changing environment.
